Christina and Felix have been together for 18 years, which happens to be as long as I’ve been with my husband. Watching their ceremony in front of their nearest and dearest friends and family tugged at my heartstrings because it made me so grateful for all the happy years Mike and I have had together.
They tied the knot officially at the Dauphin County Courthouse in downtown Harrisburg last year so we started their First Look and portraits there which worked out beautifully! The bright white stone building of the courthouse and the Market Street Bridge were the perfect backdrops for Felix’s crisp black tux and Christina’s gorgeous white satin Essense of Australia ballgown.
The ceremony and reception were held in York at The Bond and OMG guys – I’m obsessed with that place! I wish I could get married all over again and have our wedding there. They have massive windows, an industrial chic decor, ah-mazing painted murals just a few feet behind the building, and a super friendly and helpful staff. If you’re a bride thinking about where to get married, definitely check them out!
They chose to have a smaller guest list which gave the day an intimate family gathering feel. You could feel the love and support from everyone and I know they were happy to be able to have enough time to mingle with each guest. I am honored to have been part of such a unique and special day for Christina and Felix and wish them all the best in their lives together!
